Orbit reflects upon our body on a chair. The core of the body sits in the center, while our limbs and the upper body continue to shift and move. Built in materials that are used in production industries, Orbit seems like it would comfortably exist in a context of our everyday living. The detached parts of the armrest and the footrest, however, break the expected sitting experience. The parts are cues for an interaction with the chair. They encourage us to think about how we sit, why we sit and what physical components make us sit in such a way.
