Pivot explores different surface levels and invites users to interact with the piece to experience numerous ways of sitting. The seat pivots 90 degrees to provide different level of seating heights. The user can also change the orientations of the entire chair, which then alters the dimensional relationship between the seat, the back, the armrest and the footrest. Small curves on some of the edges are visual indications of the pivoting points.
